I finally updated my other site

SucceedSocially.com has a more obscure, less-frequented sister site, www.datinggroundwork.com. It’s where I’ve written a handful of articles on remedial dating advice for inexperienced guys.

I haven’t updated it since August of 2007, but I’ve just finished adding a bunch of new articles, re-writing other ones, and re-arranging the overall organization.

Second Anniversary

As of September 18th I’ve been at this for two years.

Thanks to everyone who’s read the site. Another thanks to anyone who’s taken the time to write me with their feedback or questions. I’ve read every email I’ve received, though I apologize if I wasn’t able to get back to you.

As it stands now things will continue as always into the third year. I really wish I had more time to devote to this site, but what can you do?

Problem receiving email from people

Apologies to everyone who has sent me emails through the main site’s contact form in the last little while and haven’t heard back from me. I just realized it hasn’t been working probably. Looking back, I probably have been missing people’s messages for the last month or two. I haven’t been having great luck with my email since starting the site really…

One Year Anniversary

It’s September the 18th, so that means I’ve been working on this little social skills site / project for exactly a year. Well, technically for the first six months all the articles were under the URL www.howtobecooler.com (doesn’t work anymore), but that name was pretty dumb and confusing so I moved everything over to www.succeedsocially.com at around the six month mark.

I don’t have a whole breakdown of this site and its goals and progress ready to go. It’s been a rewarding year though. For some reason I’m really interested in this topic and it’s been nice to have this venue to work out my thoughts on the area. I’m somewhat surprised I haven’t run out of stuff to talk about yet, but I seem to keep thinking of new ideas. Next year will be more of the same, plus maybe some other stuff if I decide to put it up. Long term my goal is to have the best resource out there for this area. That’ll involve a lot more adding of new ideas, and editing and refining the articles I’ve already put out.

Oh, and thanks to everyone who’s written and offered encouragement or feedback. Good to know I’m helping people. It’s corny to say, but that’s what it’s really all about, isn’t it?
