Resource Links
You could consider this site a supplement to the more typical resources out there about how to deal with issues like shyness, social anxiety, personal development, and meeting women. The sites below provide some more direct information about how to address these problems. I obviously can't vouch for every last bit of content on sites I don't control, so please use your common sense and good judgment when evaluating what you find on them.
This list will keep on growing. If you have a link you think I should add, let me know.

Dating Groundwork
I write this one. It's an offshoot to this site which contains a handful of articles on being an older virgin, the foundations you need to do better with women, and some priorities and pitfalls sexually and romantically inexperienced guys should keep in mind. It's not specifically about love shyness or involuntary celibacy per se, but this is the best spot to put it.
Assorted Links That Helped Me Learn About My Social World
These links are more personal than the others. Back in the day these sites taught me a lot about the world and some aspects of what it means to be a cool guy. I realize they're very rooted in the social culture I was trying to be a part of at the time, and won't be relevant to everyone. But if you're an upper-middle class Western white guy who has, or will, have a college degree, then check them out.
I'm a big believer that you can absorb a ton of free life experience by reading everything you can get your hands on. If you can't learn something first hand then you can do the next best thing and read about it. God knows my sheltered existence gave me a lot of 'shared common knowledge' I had to catch up on.
But seriously, over thinking things aside, these sites are all just entertaining too, at least in my opinion.
If you're even a little put off by hipster culture, stay away from this one. Every issue has a different theme and the articles are about things like sex, drugs, and weird subcultures. Reading it helped me lose some of my naivety and get a little more in touch with how more cool, loosened up people see the world.
Popular satirical paper. I mainly read it for the humor, but the writers unintentionally throw in some sharp insights about human nature.
You can learn a fair bit about life from this forum. The threads are on all kinds of topics and many interesting types weigh in with their own experiences. Read through the archives of it and you'll learn a lot about the world. I stopped reading it eventually because the board has a dysfunctional undercurrent to it, but don't let that put you off.
If I don't know what a piece of slang means I look it up here. No need to be clueless when you can research everything in a second on the internet.
I honestly haven't read this site in a few years, and now that I'm older a lot of the content doesn't do it for me any more, but at the time it helped me learn about the fun side of college life, which I was clueless about.
A blog featuring Hunter S. Thompson-esque autobiographical stories by a disenchanted corporate attorney. Contained within the accounts are some extremely sharp insights about life.
I also use this as a resource and used to spend a lot of time reading up on subcultures, bands, trends and whatnot. It helped me catch up in my knowledge in those departments.
This site helped me get interested in music. You now have to live in the U.S. to access it (which I don't), but this site is awesome if you do, unless you don't like unlimited free music that is. Totally legal too. What you do is type in a song or artist name and it creates an internet radio station for you with similar songs. You have to register after hearing a handful of songs but it does nothing to affect the service as far as I can tell.
Ishkur's Guide to Electronic Music
This is an interactive guide to all the different types of electronic music, complete with a million sound clips and sarcastic explanations of each sub-sub genre. Helped me get up to speed on music too, even though I don't listen to a ton of electronic stuff these days.
